Dirty Derm Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy

By booking a service or purchasing a product from Dirty Derm, you agree to the following terms:
Service Terms (Virtual Consultations)
Dirty Derm currently offers virtual skincare consultations only.
These services are intended for cosmetic, educational, and skincare guidance purposes and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
By booking a consultation, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for seeking care from a licensed medical provider for any medical concerns.
All recommendations are based on cosmetic skincare principles only
Dirty Derm does not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions (including acne, dermatitis, or other skin disorders)
No physical or hands-on services are performed
Results are not guaranteed and vary based on individual skin type, consistency, and lifestyle factors.
Jurisdiction & Client Responsibility
While Dirty Derm is based in South Carolina:
- Virtual consultations are offered for educational purposes only
- Laws and regulations vary by state and location
By booking, you agree that:
- You are voluntarily seeking cosmetic skincare guidance
- You assume responsibility for determining whether participation is permitted in your jurisdiction
- Dirty Derm makes no guarantees regarding regulatory requirements outside of South Carolina
Appointments & Cancellations
- A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule
- Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a forfeited session or fee
Client Responsibility
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding your skin, health history, and current product use
- Follow product instructions carefully
Dirty Derm is not responsible for:
- Adverse reactions due to undisclosed conditions
- Improper product use
- Failure to follow recommendations
Payments
- All bookings must be secured at the time of scheduling
- Consultation fees are non-refundable but may be applied toward products or future services (if applicable)
Communication & Conduct
Respectful communication is expected at all times.
Dirty Derm reserves the right to:
- Refuse service
- Terminate consultations
- Decline future bookings
if inappropriate, abusive, or unsafe behavior occurs.
Virtual Services Consent
By booking, you consent to:
- Communication via phone, video, or electronic platforms (e.g., Zoom)
- The understanding that no physical treatment will be performed
You acknowledge that:
- Electronic communication carries inherent privacy risks
- Dirty Derm takes reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dirty Derm shall not be held liable for:
- Skin reactions or sensitivities
- Outcomes from product use or skincare routines
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Use of all recommendations is at your own risk.
Refund & Returns Policy (Products Only)
Dirty Derm is committed to delivering high-quality performance skincare products. Due to the hygienic nature of skincare and personal care items, the following policy applies:
Overview
- A 30-day return window is offered from the date of delivery
Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused
- Items must be unopened
- Items must be in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be approved.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following are not eligible for return:
- Opened or used skincare products
- Products with broken seals
- Personalized or custom items
- Gift cards
- Sale or discounted items
- Digital products or virtual consultations
This policy applies to both online and in-person event purchases.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery:
Include:
- Order number
- Photos of the product
- Photos of packaging damage
Approved claims may receive a replacement or refund.
Refund Process
- Returns are inspected upon receipt
- You will receive email confirmation once reviewed
If approved:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing time depends on your bank or card provider
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
If denied:
- The item may be returned to you at your expense
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:

- Contact your credit card provider
- Contact your bank

Exchanges
- Items are replaced only if defective or damaged
- No exchanges for opened or used products
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Use a trackable shipping service for high-value items
- Dirty Derm is not responsible for lost return shipments
Return address will be provided upon approval.
Event & Vendor Sales
- All event, pop-up, and vendor purchases follow this same hygiene-based policy
- Opened or used products cannot be returned
